Island of Premuda
Covered in holm, olive trees and maquis, a small island of Premuda is a pure jewel for sailors and divers alike. Peaceful, without having any cars, Premuda is the only settlement on the island. The main attraction, apart from the intoxicating peacefulness and beautiful nature, is an exremenly interesting scenery under the sea surface. Many fascinating diving locations attract huge number of divers every summer. Most famous, the "cathedral" is a complex of stunningly beautiful caves. "Szent Istvan" shipwreck is another major diving attraction, however it requires previous diving experience and skills to be explored safely.
