Island of Lopud
Lopud is an island famous for its sandy beaches, bamboo and cactus. Exceptionally beautiful nature, however, is not the main attraction of the island. Inside the 1483 franciscian monastery fortified walls there is Sv. Marija church holding many valuable art, and the 19th century bamboo and cactus park, which are the most visited cultural attractions of Lopud.
