Bacinska Lakes
Bacinska jezera present a picturesque sight of seven lakes by the river and sea. Rich with wildlife, the cryptodepressed freshwater lakes are all mutually connected, except the smallest, Vranjak lake. Although not large in size, their beatuy is breath taking and you can enjoy it while cruising on a traditional ship around the lakes. Next to Plitko jezero, in the Klokun area there is a water source supplying the residents of the area with fresh water for centuries, making life comfortable in the nearby town Ploce. Nearby Sladinac historical site holds the remains of the mosaics and walls of the ancient roman settlement Praetoria and the early christian basilic from the 6th century.
