Slano

Situated in a beautiful bay, sheltered from the wind, Slano is an ideal docking place for many boats and yachts. Typical croatian coastline, pebble beaches, crystal clear blue sea and lush vegetation are main attractions of the area. Lovely smell of pine trees, lavander, sage, olives, carob and almond fill the air, anywhere you go. Slano holds many interesting cultural sites, as well.  Most visited are the 16th century franciscian church, Ohmucevic family mansion and many forts built around the village, who attract more and more tourists every year.
