Mali Losinj
The biggest island city in Croatia, Mali Losinj, covers the area on south side of Losinj bay, in the Augusta lagoon. First residents were 12 croatian families who mostly lived off cattle and farming, later on switching to fishing, sailing and ship building.
Mali Losinj's golden era was in the 19th century, when thanks to the sea and sailing "small village" grew up into an admirable coastal city, full of interesting historic sites and entertainment, favorite among many European visitors.
