Pag
City of Pag was settled in 1443, following the migration of Old Pag's population, caused by the frequent battles of Rab and Zadar. The beautiful, old town holds many wounderful sites to see with the most significent being Duke's palace, Skrivanat tower- the only remaining of the 9 towers that encompassed the city, and the Marijinog Uznesenja church. Pag is also well known for the salt production with the first record of the industry dating way back to 1368.
