Goli Otok
Once a prison camp, Goli otok is hardly accessible from the north and east due to the high and sheer cliffs, while the southeast shore is much lower and tamer, allowing ships to dock. The harsh island was once inhabited, but now, only the ruins of former village of Maslinje are left to tell the story. Even though it is quite deserted, many tourists are attracted to the island and come here in large numbers. Interestingly, there is an open cinema on the island where the sailors occasionally come to for a bit of entertainment and unique feeling the cinema provides.
