Rab
Thanks to its admirable walls, the city of Rab is often compared to, none other, but the city of Dubrovnik! The town has a history dating back to 360 BC, when it was inhabited by the Illyrians. There are many old churches in the town: the largest, St. Mary the Blessed, was built in the 13th century, church of St. Justine is now a museum of sacred arts and the chapel of St. Christopher, called the Lapidarium was dedicated to the patron saint of the island. Four church bell towers are the symbol of the town and island.
