Beli
One of the oldest and most significant settlements of the Cres island is the the Village Beli. Situated on a 130m high hill in the northern part of the island, it is a typical mediterranean village with closely packed houses and narrow stone streets. Holding many fascinating culutural and historical monuments, one of it's greatest attractions is the ancient graveyard with stables from the Neolithic period.
Other popular attractions are beautiful pebble beach and a small harbour.
The eko centre „Caput Insulae“ is also in the village, showing the magnificent biological diversity of Cres and Losinj islands and the surrounding sea.
