Osor
Town of Osor is the southernmost point of the island. Through it leads the road to Losinj and over the 12m strait between the islands there is a bridge that lifts up as small boats pass.
Old town core holds many remarkable historic monuments, the forum, old city hall, cathedral and many more, mostly 15th and 16th century buidlings of cultural value. Outside city you can see the remains of mithic Apsorosos: foundations of the early Christian cathedral, walls and gardens covering the traces of old Roman villas and monasteries.
Cuisine presented in the town is an outstanding selection of Cres' and Dalamtia's finest dishes and wines, further increasing Osor's appeal.
