Valun
Valun is a typical fishermen village of the region, surrounded by two lovely beaches. It is mostly known for an ancient document, the Valun plate. Valun plate is the first Glagolitic engraved plate and, along with the medieval latin translation, presents one of the most significant documents of Croatian culuture and history, dating back to the 9th century. Valun is also famous for the beautiful St. Mark's church standing on the local cemetery.
