Bol

Bol is the oldest coastal settlement on Brac, now a main attraction of the island. Famous for the Zlatni Rat beach, it is now a toursit centre, containing many high-class hotel, camps, apartments and private houses offering accomodation. Exceptional surroundings and favorable wind make Bol an excellent destination for people who want an active and adventureous holidays. Wind surfing, sailing, diving, tennis and gym are just some of many sport activites at your disposal here. Above the Malena Murvica valley, known for the Zmajeva cave, overlooking Bol, is the old Illyrian fort Kostilo, located on mount Bolska kruna. Vidova gora, the highest peak on the Croatian Adriatic is in the vicinity of Bol, as well.
