Malinska
Malinska used to be the main harbour of the island for wood export and a favorite summer resort for the Austrian elite. It was named in 15th century after a mill that was built in the city. In 1866, in Malinska, there was a first steam powered boat docking on the island, which is concidered to have started the development of Malinska as a port and a tourist destination. Known for its chram and beauty, it is often reffered to as "the jewel of the Kvarner islands".
