Omisalj

Along the shores of almost 3km long bay, 85m above the sea level, city of Omišalj lies visible from every point in Rijeka bay. Such a distinction was recognized tens of thousands years ago and then the story of Omišalj began, concieved by the excellent geographical position. Curvy stone streets of the old city core cherish the valuable historical and cultural heritage. A sight into the Omisalj history can be seen through the Lapidarij, holding a collection of ancient stone monuments.
