Island of Silba
The clearest part of the Adriatic, is said to be around Silba island. Long and thin, Silba is covered in holm, mediterannean oak, pine, medical herbs and spices. No venomous animals or poisonous plants inhabit Silba and the sea is rich with colorful fish and clams. There are no cars allowed on this quiet island with 270 permanent residents. In summer, island is a home to several thousand, drawn by it's peacefulness and beauty. Along the 25km coast there are countless pebble and sandy beaches of mesmerising beauty.
