Vodice

Vodice's growth and development began in the 16th century, when the residents of local areas started migrating towards the shore. The town, backed up by its citizens, played a major role in defense against the Turk invasion. In town centre, Coric tower stands witness to the proud past. Vodice are, today, a leading tourist centre of the region, attracting more and more visitors every year. Part of a reason for that lies in the number and the vicinity of lovely beaces and in a rich night life with many crowded bars and clubs open late into the night.
